Process

This was a personal project of mine that I put considerable effort into. The purpose was to create a detailed model of a drill with a limit of 10 thousand maximum polygons. 
First I found reliable references and modeled a silhouette of the drill. Then I refined it to a low-poly that will be used as the final model. I created a UV for it and proceeded to make a high-poly version. After the high-poly was ready I used floaters for some details. All textures were baked in Substance Painter, where the color was added too. For the final render, I used the Marmoset Toolbag.
